About Nora

Nora Batternay is an internationally recognized photographer now based in Litchfield County, Connecticut. She was born in Budapest, Hungary, was raised and studied her craft throughout Europe. She is now living in the United States for over a decade. Her photos have been exhibited in Europe, Los Angeles, and New York. Nora offers a natural, fresh, and sincere approach to each project and subject. Her camera lens leads her heart onto the world. Nora’s images have been known to provoke a strong feeling, inspiring something very deep within each observer.

Nora’s experience and qualifications are extensive. She is a former board member of the Professional Women Photographers (PWP) in New York City. Nora successfully curated a photo exhibition, “DAYDREAMS in a Real World”, held in Montauk, NY. She has received accolades and nominations for excellence and creativity from The London Photographic Association, Black and White Spider Awards, as well as The Photography Masters Cup. Nora’s camera has gone from photo-documenting offshore whale studies, to producing professional modeling portraits, to shooting for the New York City Police Department. She spends her time these days working on custom photo shoots and special events in the greater New York and Connecticut area. Nora is currently available as a photographer, as well as on a creative consultant basis and for private lessons upon request.
